District Curriculum SRG Grading Indicator Definitions

Grades K-8

Exceeds (EX) = Student demonstrates exceptional skill and knowledge for the targeted skill or concept.

Secure (SC) = Student consistently meets grade level expectations for the targeted skill or concept.

Developing (DV) = Student is approaching grade level expectations for the targeted skill or concept.

Beginning (BG) = Student does not yet demonstrate grade level expectations for the targeted skill or concept. Significant support and/or time is needed.

In Progress (IP) = Work has begun in the standard but not enough information exists to know where student is currently operating.
