Career Academy of Pella

The Career Academy of Pella is a state-of-the-art building where the Pella Community School District offers courses and programs focusing on career and technical education.

Students are introduced to a variety of skilled areas where they experience hands-on learning, helping them identify areas of interest and guide them toward relevant post-secondary education.

  • Fashion & Design
  • Project Lead The Way (Engineering)
  • Work-Based Learning (WBL)

Work-Based Learning Program (WBL)

The WBL program is designed to help students find a career path by providing opportunities that will benefit them beyond high school.   Students will get on-the-job training from approved businesses along with classroom instruction, allowing them to earn while they learn!

After completion, students will earn a nationally recognized certification and have the opportunity to earn a Des Moines Area Community College Associate of General Studies Degree.
