School Registration
Welcoming Learners from Preschool (age 4) – 12th Grade!
The 2020-21 online school registration is open for both new and returning students – this includes students entering our 4-year-old preschool program through 12th grade.
- Please use a laptop or a desktop computer to complete registration if possible.
- We recommend using the web browsers Google Chrome, Firefox, or if you are using an iPad, the app Puffin. Using a mobile phone to complete registration is not recommended.
The 2021-22 online school registration will open March 1, 2021!!!!

- PRESCHOOL AGE – must be the age of 4, not 5, on or before September 15, 2020.
- PRE-KINDERGARTEN & KINDERGARTEN AGE – must be the age of 5 on or before September 15, 2020.

Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is requesting to attend school in a school district other than your resident school district.
Deadline for submitting the 2020-21 open enrollment papers was March 2, 2020. If you currently attend Pella CSD and have a recent change in your district of residence, please contact our district registrar.
Click HERE for the 2021-22 open enrollment form. Deadline to submit is March 1, 2021 for students in grades 1-12, and September 1, 2021 for Pre-Kindergarten (age 5) & Kindergarteners. Click HERE for the open enrollment guidelines. Questions? Please contact our district registrar.
20-21 New Students
Online Registration
- A new student registration means you do not have any children currently enrolled in the Pella Community School District.
Step 1 – Registration
Complete the online registration application HERE. Questions? Contact our District Registrar.
Provide proof of residence: lease/mortgage agreement or utility bill
Provide proof of the student’s age: birth certificate, hospital certificate of live birth, US passport, adoption papers, custody document, or student’s driver’s license.
Provide updated State Health Requirements to the school nurse
Step 2 – Pay Fees
On July 1, the textbook fee will be applied. You will also be able to select the optional fees you wish to purchase.
You will receive login information via email – please contact the District Registrar if you do not receive this email after you complete the online registration.
On July 1, log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to pay your 2020-21 fees.
Under the Fees section, click the button that says Add to Cart.
Under Food Service, enter the amount in the amount field and Add to Cart.
Optional Fees can be added to your cart by going under Fees and then clicking on Optional Fees.
Free/Reduced price meal application will be available this summer.
Step 3 – Celebrate!
You are done with registration!
Step 4 – Building-Specific Process
Once registration is complete, the school office will contact you to schedule a time to visit, meet the teacher, and/or set up your students’ schedule.

20-21 Returning Students
Parent Portal
- A returning student registration means you already have students enrolled and you might want to add more children (such as preschoolers or kindergartners) who might be new to the Pella Community School District.
- You already have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal login
- If you have forgotten your Infinite Campus password, please use the password reset option on the bottom of the Infinite Campus parent portal login page.
- If you have questions about your Infinite Campus login info, please contact the District Registrar.
Step 1 – Registration
Log in through the Parent Portal and click on MORE then click on ONLINE REGISTRATION.
Complete the online registration form
Verify household, parent, and emergency contact information. Please provide an updated Proof of Residence if you have changed addresses.
Confirm existing student enrollments for 2020-21
Add additional students to be enrolled for 2020-21 under the student section (example: preschoolers)
Provide updated State Health Requirements to the school nurse
Step 2 – Pay Fees
