News Signing Event Marks the Beginning of Local High School Students’ Work-Based Learning Journeys
Published on April 19, 2024WorkSMART Connector and the Career Academy of Pella joined a crowd of supporters to celebrate the commitment of area high school students who enrolled in work-based learning apprenticeship and certificate opportunities. Students from Pella, Pella Christian, Knoxville, Prairie City-Monroe, Melcher-Dallas, Twin Cedars, North Mahaska, and homeschool backgrounds are embarking on a journey to gain technical and on-the-job training necessary to earn certifications and/or college credits, all while earning a wage. Congratulations to all the new apprenticeship students!
