Jay Murphy, PE teacher at Jefferson, organized two teams with 20 total staff members from Jefferson Intermediate school to participate in the Live Healthy Iowa step challenge the past six weeks. Mrs. Goodman’s class and the library partnered to “fill the wagon” for the food shelf this Thanksgiving. Our overflowing wagon had over 200 items that were brought in by students in hopes that our local families who are struggling will have a happy Thanksgiving.
