Pella Engineers Teach Jefferson 4th Graders Simple Machines

Engineers from Pella Corp came to Jefferson as part of the PEERS program to teach 4th graders about simple machines. Students participated in hands-on learning activities where they learned about incline planes, pulleys, wheel and axles, and a lever using a trebuchet.
