News Student AND Parent Course Registration Meeting (December 6th at the High School)

This is your friendly reminder that it is almost time to register your 8th grader for his/her high school classes! Jessica Manning and Rachel Van Zante (the high school counselors) will be holding a Student AND Parent Course Registration Meeting on Wednesday, December 6th.

Location : Pella High School Auditorium

Time : 5:15-6:15

Bring: Your student’s laptop

The state mandates that parents sign off on their 8th graders’ four-year plans, so we are hoping for 100% attendance.  You and your 8th grader will need to attend together. Please make sure your students know how to access Infinite Campus before the meeting, as they will need to get into their “Course Plan’ on Infinite Campus to sign up for their classes.

Again, attendance at the meeting is very important; your student will actually sign up for 9th grade classes during this meeting. Your student will not receive a high school schedule until a parent has signed off on his/her class requests. After the session, there will be time for questions.

Before this meeting, Jourdan Van Wyk (the middle school counselor) will be discussing course options with the 8th graders.  Students will also tour the high school at a later date next semester.
