News A Day of Recognition and Giving at Pella Middle School
Published on May 5, 2025On Thursday, Pella Middle School marked a special day of recognition and generosity as seventh-grade social studies students presented donation checks to local non-profit organizations. This event upholds a long-standing tradition of raising funds through the winter activities concession stand.
The project is made possible thanks to the support of Mr. Fynaardt, Mr. Tjeerdsma, and the dedicated staff members who consistently check in on students at every game. Running the concession stand offers students a hands-on opportunity to witness how hard work can yield meaningful results. More importantly, it instills a sense of purpose, showing them the impact of contributing to causes greater than themselves, as all proceeds are donated to deserving organizations.
