Published on February 10, 2017

The 7th grade class at Pella Middle School packed 20,700 meals in the middle school on Thursday, February 9. Hannah Nedder, a 7th grader in Mrs. (Kristin) Schulz’s Social Studies class wrote and obtained a $2000 grant toward this project as a result of the annual 7th grade social studies “Go Make a Difference/Change the World” problem solving task. A matching $2000 MftH (Meals from the Heartland) Youth Grant and a small amount of the profits from the seventh grade students’ concession stand and jersey sale business were also used to pay for the transportation of MftH supplies. Great job making a difference 7th graders!
