News Mileage Club 2017-18

Published on June 4, 2018

Madison Elementary Mileage Club completed its seventh year with record-breaking success! Mileage Club is a program promoted by PE teacher Katie Gravert to give every Madison student the opportunity to be active and set goals by running during lunch recess. The 2017-2018 school year was a milestone year with students running a combined 3,795 miles, the most ever at Madison Elementary! One hundred and forty-one different students ran 10 or more miles. Ten students were honored at the year-end assembly with t-shirts from Franklin Street Clothing for running over 70 miles throughout the year. The top Mileage Club runner, Max Stelpflug, ran 115 miles. A special thank you to parent volunteers who make Mileage Club possible and congratulations to our top Milers for the year!
