News Students at Lincoln Wave a Tribute

Students at Lincoln Elementary wave as the funeral procession for longtime crossing guard Paul Thompson drove down Main Street on Friday, November 9.

“We thought it was a fitting tribute to have them wave back to send him home. He just loved kids, and he was known for his wave,” Mr. Schulte said. “Every day, people would pass on Main Street…he’d be waving at them, regardless of whether he knew them or not.”
