News No One Fights Alone

Published on October 12, 2017

Jefferson Intermediate staff members know “No one fights alone.”  Staff members recently wore t-shirts to show support for fellow members’ (and family members’)  fights against thyroid, cervical, kidney, breast, ovarian cancers and chronic pain disorders.

A few years ago Jefferson staff members wore orange shirts alongside the pink during the “Paint the Stands Pink” football game to support a staff member battling kidney cancer. This year’s shirts honor all of those who are fighting. While t-shirts don’t cure cancer, seeing them in the hall symbolizes hope and unity to those who might need encouragement.
