News Jefferson 5th Graders Experience Hands-On Farm Safety at Marion County Ag Safety Day

Our 5th graders had an incredible hands-on learning experience courtesy of the Marion County Extension & 4-H on Thursday, April 23, at the Vermeer Pavilion during Ag Safety Day! Students rotated through a variety of interactive stations focused on important agricultural safety topics. From UTV safety and chemical safety to animal safety and more, each station provided practical knowledge our students can carry with them for years to come. We are especially grateful to the many local businesses and volunteers who generously gave their time and expertise to make this day possible. Their commitment to educating our youth made a lasting impact! Thank you to everyone who helped create such a meaningful and engaging experience for our students!
