News Welding Class To Display Work On The Today Show

Published on January 29, 2016

Monday, February 1, the Today Show will be broadcasting their live show from West End Salvage in Des Moines to cover the Iowa Caucuses. Career Academy of Pella Welding Instructor, Sheila Graham, will be involved in the show and will display her welding students’ work. The students have welded the butter cow frame which Sarah Pratt will use to sculpt the butter cow on the live show. The welding students also made the Today Show emblem. These students will be in the audience and will be able to ask the candidates questions. This is great exposure for the Career Academy of Pella and a great experience for our students.
