News Pella Girls Tennis Team Wins Class 1A State Team Championship

A huge congratulations to the Pella Girls Tennis Team! The team achieved a remarkable conclusion to their 2024 season on Wednesday, clinching the Class 1A state team tennis championship in Waterloo.
Head Coach David Bouska said, “What an amazing accomplishment from a special group of girls. These ladies responded so well all season to the potential weight of expectations and when the pressure could have been greatest and the points mattered most during the final, they kept attacking and playing to win. They set the goal of winning a State Championship after placing 4th in 2023 and they did everything that they had to do to push themselves to a championship level. All the work, all the time, it all paid off. They can now forever say: Pella Lady Dutch, 2024 Tennis State Champions.”
