News Students Participate in NASA Competition

Published on March 31, 2021
As with many events over this past year, the NASA 2021 Space Settlement Design Competition took place virtually over the March 27-28 weekend.  Students were lead by High School Science Teacher, Erin Yoder, and did an exceptional job with their presentations.
The goal of this contest is for students to learn and apply science while working as a team to design a NASA space settlement.  This involves physics, mathematics, space science, environmental science and many other disciplines.

Congratulations to Thomas Tangen and his winning team: Vulture!

Congratulations to all of the Pella NASA teams who participated:
  • Team Dougeldyne:  Zoe Blanton and Nathan Rhinehart
  • Team Rockdonnell:  Taryn Peffers and Eli Ruckman
