News Two Pella Staff Named Teachers of the Year

The Pella Community Schools are proud to announce state teacher of the year awards for two staff members:

  • Joe Burch has been named as the 2014 Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year for the state of Iowa by the Iowa Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
  • IAHPERD has also named Amy Belding as the 2014 Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year for Iowa.

Only one teacher in the state of Iowa receives each of these awards each year.

Mr. Burch and Mrs. Belding will be presented their awards at the October 3 IAHPERD convention in Ames.
