Published on March 8, 2017

Camp Read-a-Lot was held on February 21 & 23 at Madison & Lincoln Elementary Schools for Preschool-3rd grade families. This was a night for families to experience many different literacy activities together. Some of those activities included: reading under the stars, camping bingo and memory, sight word fishing, nature hike writing, family photo booth, making a s’mores snack, and taking home a new book. Total attendance for the two nights was 776 people. This night was made possible by sponsorship from the Marion County Grant Committee, Hy-Vee, and school staff members.
