News HS Jazz Bands Preform at IHSMA

The Iowa High School Music Association State Jazz Contest was held at the Pella High School Saturday, January 27th. Area jazz bands from Oskaloosa, North Mahaska, Pleasantville, PCM, Grinnell, EBF, Knoxville, and the three Pella HS Jazz Bands preformed throughout the day. Pella Jazz 1 and Jazz 2 (PM) received Division I “Superior” ratings and Jazz 2 (AM) received Division II “Excellent” rating.
