News District Celebrates Statewide Recognition: All Five Schools Rated High Performing

Published on October 2, 2025

PCSD is proud to announce that all five of our school buildings, serving grades K-12, have been recognized as High Performing in the Iowa Department of Education’s annual rankings. Each year, Iowa schools are evaluated on academic performance, survey results, and grade-level data. Rankings range from Priority/Comprehensive through Exceptional, with High Performing reflecting strong results across multiple measures. This recognition highlights the hard work of our students, staff, and families across the district. Superintendent Greg Ebeling said, “We are extremely proud that all five of our schools in Pella have been recognized as ‘High Performing’ on the Iowa School Performance Profile by the Department of Education. This honor reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families, and it reinforces our commitment to providing an excellent educational experience for every learner.”
