Joan Nikkel, Middle School Language Arts Teacher
Joan Nikkel is recognized by the Governor’s office and the Department of Education as a finalist for the Iowa Department of Education’s Teacher of the Year award.
Joan was one of five Iowa educators who were picked as finalists for this year’s state award, which was won by George Anderson at Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
We are thankful and proud to have Joan Nikkel sharing her gifts and her heart with students and staff at Pella Community Schools. Congratulations Joan!
