News Apprenticeship News – Marie Vander Wilt Completes Patient Care Apprenticeship
Published on March 27, 2024Congratulations to Marie Vander Wilt for being the first Pella High alum to complete a United States Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship in Patient Care. Marie received skills training at the Career Academy of Pella through the WorkSMART Connector program, with work-based learning experience at The Cottages and Pella Regional Health Center. Marie shares, “I appreciate my time spent in the apprenticeship program and am thankful for the many opportunities it provided me. I learned and grew a lot as a person, and it set me up for success in my current career. I am grateful to everyone who helped me along this journey.”
