News Fourth Graders Partner with the Pella Food Shelf
Published on October 6, 2026Fourth-grade students welcomed a special visitor from the Pella Food Shelf! Melissa Zula visited Jefferson Intermediate to discuss food insecurity and the Food Shelf’s mission, helping students understand how the organization supports our community.
Fourth graders will visit the Food Shelf each quarter to volunteer in a variety of ways and give back to the community.
