News WorkSMART Connector and Career Academy of Pella Honored with State STEM BEST Award and IT Careers Grant

WorkSMART Connector and the Career Academy of Pella are honored to receive the STEM BEST Award and the Credentials to Computer Science Careers Grant from the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the Department of Education! In partnership with Central College and the City of Pella, these funds will support summer training opportunities for Marion County high school students, preparing them for careers in Emergency Medical Services (EMT) and Information Technology (IT). Students will earn certification or Central College credit through successful participation in these programs. We’re proud to offer hands-on learning experiences that equip students with real-world skills and help prepare them for success in their future careers.
