Pella Schools embraces the Leader in Me framework that establishes a “whole-child” mindset, with the belief that all students have genius and that everyone can be a leader. Students learn and practice the 7 Habits: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Synergize, and Sharpen the Saw. Students also build social emotional-skills through the curriculum Second Step–like nurturing positive relationships, managing emotions, and solving problems so they can thrive in both school and life.
