I attended Central College where I majored in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood Education. After graduating from Central in 2002, I started my teaching career as a 3rd grade teacher in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. After two fabulous years in Hawaii, we returned “home” where I had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten for six years in Carlisle. I have been an elementary teacher in Pella since 2012. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such a progressive district.
My husband and I live here in Pella with our two wonderful daughters. Running and spending time with my family are my favorite free time activities.
