I grew up in Northwest Iowa and received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of South Dakota. I began my teaching career in Webster City, then taught in Rock Valley and most recently at Johnston High School. I have the pleasure of teaching Concert Choir, Select Choir and AcaPella. I look forward to making music everyday in the classroom and hope to leave a love of music that carries on into my students’ lives. My husband, Jeff, teaches instrumental music in Pella and we are parents to Halle, Nate and Maddie. I love gardening, exercising and spending time with my family.
