Sam Nau

My name is Mr. Nau and I started teaching at Pella in 2021. I grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, then moved to Winterset, IA, where I graduated high school. I went on to get my Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. I am the 5th & 6th grade band director here in Pella, as well as the 7th & 8th grade jazz band director, and an assistant director of the high school marching band. Outside of school I love to cook, travel, play music, and visit my family, friends, and my dog Berkeley.
