I attended Graceland University where I majored in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and Physical Education. In 2007, I started my teaching career in Osceola, Iowa at Clarke Elementary. I met my husband, Nick and we moved to northwest Iowa where I taught at West Sioux Community School in Hawarden, Iowa. In 2014, we moved to Pella where I love teaching second graders at Madison. Every day is an adventure, a challenge, and an absolute joy!
Nick and I have three children – Brayden (10), Rylee(7) and Maddox(6). I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and playing sports, being outside, riding my bike, and reading and playing with my kids.
