My love for elementary school started at Kenwood Elementary in Minneapolis, and I feel fortunate that I have found an equally welcoming school environment here in Pella!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Elementary Education and Sociology/Anthropology from Gustavus Adolphus College, a Master of Education from Saint Mary’s University, and a School Administration licensure from the University of Minnesota. I have twenty years of teaching experience, including primary, intermediate, and mixed grade level classes in the Twin Cities metro and greater metro areas. My time as an Instructional Coach fueled my passion for equitable and robust learning opportunities for all students, and helped steer me toward school leadership.
I joined the Lincoln Elementary family in 2020 and live in Pella with my husband, Kevin, my sons Henry and Joe, and our dog Lucy. In my free time I enjoy reading, hosting family and friends, and traveling whenever possible.
