I graduated high school from Pella in 2005. After high school, I went to Truman State University where I received my Bachelors degree in mathematics with a minor in music. After my undergraduate studies, I continued my education at Truman receiving my Masters degree in education. During my graduate studies I taught College Algebra and College Statistics at Truman State. After college I taught for a year in Kansas City and a year at Bettendorf High School. I started teaching in Pella in 2012 and have also enjoyed coaching basketball, soccer, and tennis.
My husband, Josiah, teaches Spanish at North Mahaska. We enjoy spending time with our extended family, traveling, and playing tennis.
