Hello! My teaching career began in 2005 as a 5-12 band director and 9-12 choral director. After that, I worked in insurance for a few years before substitute teaching for a year and then teaching Special Education in Des Moines (2014), Urbandale (2015), and Pella (2025) since 2014.
I am married to my husband, Kevin, and we have three children, Riley, Avery, and Kailey. Some things I enjoy are music, being an advisor for Best Buddies, thrifting, and shopping for antiques, as well as having a cup of coffee with family and friends!
