In 2008 I graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!!) with a degree in Family Consumer Sciences Education and Studies, and have been teaching FCS ever since. In 2012 I received my Master’s in Education from Morningside University. I joined the Pella High School staff in 2021.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. Most of my free time is spent watching my kids’ activities. As a family, we enjoy being outside and traveling. I also like reading, gardening and being active.
