I attended Drake University where I majored in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Reading. After graduating in 2004, I began teaching preschool and then Kindergarten in the Des Moines Public School District. I received my Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI in 2008. In 2009, I began teaching Kindergarten at Madison Elementary. It is a delight to be surrounded every day by the cheerful energy of 5 year olds in Pella!
My husband and I have three fun loving boys. We enjoy playing outside, watching baseball and football, playing board games, and reading together.
