I grew up in a small town in Northeast Iowa called Tripoli. I went to UNI for my undergraduate degree, which is where I met my wife Nikki, who also teaches in Pella. After graduation, I taught at Grinnell Middle School for 8 years. During that time, I received my master’s from Drake University. Prior to coming to Pella in 2022, I was a K-6 Principal at AGWSR in Wellsburg, Iowa. Other than having the pleasure of teaching 7th and 8th grade students, I have plenty to keep me busy. My two children, Colin and Molly, are involved in many activities. On weekends you may find us at Hawkeye games or at Lake Rathbun.
