I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in early childhood development and elementary education. My career includes teaching kindergarten and first grade in Iowa and Indiana. While living in Indiana, I received my Master’s Degree in early childhood education from Ball State University. In 2001, I began teaching in the Pella Community School District. It is a pleasure to teach and raise my family in my home town.
My husband and I have two wonderful daughters. I enjoy movies, traveling, and attending sporting events.
