John Kramer

Teacher
  • 6th Grade (Jefferson Intermediate)

I grew up in Grundy Center, Iowa graduating in 1998. I graduated from Northwestern College in 2003. In the past I have taught at Pomeroy-Palmer Schools and Lynnville-Sully Schools where I was responsible for Science or Social Studies instruction to 6-8 grade students. I started teaching 4th grade at Pella Community Schools in 2011. My wife, Jacie, and I live on an acreage with our 5 children – Aspen, Bethany, Conrad, Emmett, and Flint. We enjoy the farm life and the responsibilities it teaches our children with chores related to our horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. In my free time I enjoy watching football, specifically cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Denver Broncos; as well as reading, drawing, hunting, taking in an occasional movie, and spending time with my family.
