I earned my MA in school counseling at The University of Iowa and a BA in English and secondary education at Central College. I began serving as a counselor at Pella High School in 2012. In my career, I have also served as the counselor at Pella Middle School, Jefferson Intermediate, and Summit Middle School in Johnston.

My husband, Josh, and I have three boys – Michael, Sam, and Emmett.
