I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota and have spent my career teaching bands of all grade levels in Iowa. Prior to coming to Pella I taught at Ogden, Rock Valley and Johnston. My wife, Samantha teaches vocal music at Pella High School and we have three children- Halle, Nathan and Madeline. My teaching responsibilities include 5th and 6th grade band, high school marching band and high school Jazz II.
