I started working in the Pella School District in 2010 to 2016 and came back in 2021. I graduated from Central College with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001. I earned my Masters Degree from Drake University in 2007. My wife Melissa and I have four kids: Reagan, Brooklynn, Brecken, and Ryker. We enjoy spending time outdoors and boating at Lake Red Rock.
I also coach sports here in the Pella School District and have been a part of six state championship teams (2014, 2015- Football) (2013, 2016, 2021, 2023- Track and Field). I have also coached individual Track and Field State Champions in shot put in 2019 and 2021.
