Droste Hennings

I graduated from Iowa State University with my bachelor’s degree in English Education in the spring of 2023. After finishing my bachelor’s, I completed my master’s degree at Iowa State in Applied Linguistics/Teaching English as a Second Language in the spring of 2025. During graduate school, I gained teaching experience through an assistantship, in which I taught college composition. I have also worked with Upward Bound, teaching summer composition courses to high school students in Iowa. After finishing my degrees at Iowa State, I started teaching middle and high school English at Pella in 2025. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, playing pickleball, and cooking.
