Began teaching at Pella High School in 2005 after previously working for Blue Springs High School (Blue Springs, MO), Centralia High School (Centralia, MO), and Truman State University (Kirksville, MO). Earned both his B.S. in Mathematics (’97) and M.A.E. Mathematics Education (’99) from Truman State University. Head Coach for the boys’ and girls’ Pella Dutch Cross Country team. Assistant Coach for the boys’ and girls’ Pella Dutch Track and Field team.

Married to Lynn Evenhouse in 1997 and together they have six children (Hannah, Emily, Abigail, Rhea, Olivia and Garion). Hobbies include running, fantasy sports, reading, and strategic board games. A member of Third Church in Pella, IA.
