I moved to Pella in 2013. I graduated from William Penn University with a degree in Elementary Education, along with endorsements in Reading and Special Education (Strat I and Strat II).
Before joining Pella Community Schools, I worked as a Level 3 Special Education teacher at Oskaloosa Elementary School. Special education has always been my passion, and the part I enjoy most is building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them grow both academically and personally.

My husband, Austin, grew up in Pella and graduated from Pella High School. He owns Stone Corner Construction, a local construction company. Together we have two children, Kaden and Ella. As a family, we enjoy spending time at the lake, hiking, and traveling whenever we can.
