I am originally from Ackley, IA, and graduated from AGWSR High School. I earned my BA from Central College and my MAT in Special Education from Morningside University. My wife, Nicole, and I have 2 children- Ava and Jackson.
I started teaching at Pella in 2025, but have been a part of the district since 2017. I am passionate about my family, faith, coaching, and serving students.
