Mrs. Tangen teaches 6th grade science and coaches 7-8th grade cross country. Before Pella, she earned her science education degree, ran cross country, and played soccer at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Throughout her career she has taught in Belvidere, Illinois and Newton, Iowa, prior to Pella. In 2007, She earned her MA in Education from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and accomplished National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Science in 2008.
