Ashley Van Dyke

Guidance Counselor
  • Student Resources (Lincoln Elementary)

I graduated from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa in 2007 with a Major in Elementary Education, a minor in Psychology, and a social studies endorsement. I began my teaching career at Shenandoah CSD in southwest Iowa, where I taught for nine years. I taught first grade for five years before entering my role as a kindergarten teacher. I obtained my Masters Degree in School Counseling from University of West Alabama in 2017. I started working for the Pella school district in 2018. My husband, Kevin, is a fifth grade teacher at Jefferson Intermediate. We have four kids, Kaden, Ellie, Blaine, and Brooks. We enjoy playing outside, riding ATV’s, having dance parties, and going on adventures together. In my free time I like to read books, work on sewing projects, cheer for the Hawkeyes, and do a little online shopping.
