  • Congratulations to Ellie Wiskus on her accomplishments at last night’s Peer Track events!
  • It was an outstanding night at the track! Congratulations to the Pella Lady Dutch Middle School Girls Track Teams. The 7th grade girls finished in 6th place with many personal records throughout the night and Emily McMartin was the conference Champion in the 100 meter.  The 8th grade girls were the Little Hawkeye Conference Champions with many personal records. The conference champions individually were: Andrea VanHeukelom-200M Hurdles; Roselande Vanderhoff – 100M, 400M. The Relay conference champions were the 4×400 – Esther Josiah, Faith Diers, Chelsea Jorgensen, Roselande Vanderhoff; and the Distance Medley – Sierrah Hilligas, Ellie Kain, Maranda Verschuure, Ashley Blommers. Thanks for giving it your all, girls!
  • Also, congratulations to the boys track teams! 7th grade boys destroyed the competition to become conference champions last night. 26 personal records were broken as well as 2 school records. Karl Miller in the 400 and Josiah Wittenberg in the 800.The 8th grade boys, with a depleted squad, competed like crazy to get 2nd place as a team! 27 Personal Records were broken last night!  Congratulations to all members of the boys track teams on a great season, on the hundreds of Personal Records that were set, and on breaking 13 school records! Thanks for a fun season!


  • Do you like to sing, dance, act, hula-hoop, juggle…I know our school is filled with talented students! Sign-up here in the office to perform in the Student Talent Show Case which will be on Friday, May 26. Acts will have prior screening and approval. See Mrs. Blommers or Mrs. Brand with any questions.
  • Attention 8th Grade Football Players: There will be a meeting tomorrow for anyone planning on playing Freshman Football next school year. Coach McKinstrey will be here to discuss what you need to know and hand out information. The meeting will be during 10th period on Thursday.
  • Today is 7th grade PE, 8th grade Health and Girl’s Choir.
