Today’s Celebration:

-Today’s is World Autism Awareness Day. World Autism Awareness Day shines a bright light on autism as a growing global health crisis. WAAD activities help to increase and develop world knowledge of the autism epidemic and impart information regarding the importance of early diagnosis and early intervention. Additionally, WAAD celebrates the unique talents and skills of persons with autism and is a day when individuals with autism are warmly welcomed and embraced in community events around the globe.

Today’s Lunch:  breaded chicken sandwich or salad bar  Tomorrow:  walking taco

Remember:

-90 minute early dismissal, 7th grade PE, and BOYS choir 10th pd today

-Attention 8th graders – 2014 High School Football Cheerleading tryouts will take place next week. Learn tryout material Monday, April 7th from 6-8 pm in the Cafeteria and formal tryouts Tues April 8th at 6:00 pm in the west gym. Please sign up and obtain a parent consent form in The office.

-The top rated book by Pella Middle School students for this year’s Iowa Teen Award reading contest was Legend. The second choice was a tie between : Cinder, Name of the Star, and Between Shades of Gray. Students, please stop by the library and pick up your piece of popcorn from this year’s display.
