Congratulations to the Middle School Girls Lady Dutch on their outstanding performances at the Little Hawkeye Conference meet in Norwalk last night.  They 7th grade and 8th grade teams both place second at the meet.  The Little Hawkeye Conference champions were:

Lisa Dykstra – Long Jump

Whitley Poulter – 1500 meter run

4×400 M Relay – Lisa Dykstra, Courtney Thompson, Caroline McMartin, Elsie Thoreson


Emily Holterhaus – High Jump, 100 Meter Hurdles

Alex Hackett- Shot Put

Natalie Clayberg – 200 Meter Hurdles

Shuttle Hurdle – Natalie Clayberg, Grace Held, Jackie Wieser, Emily Holterhaus

-1:45 dismissal today, 7th grade PE & 8th grade health, Boys choir 10th pd

-Boys track will turn in their sweats today 10th pd.

-8th graders interested in playing 9th grade football next fall will meet tomorrow 10th pd in the cafeteria.

-7th grade students planning on running cross country this fall will have a preseason meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 am in Mrs. Tangen’s room at Jefferson.

-8th grade volleyball players, if you are planning on playing volleyball in high school next year, please attend a meeting tomorrow during 10th hour in Mrs. Brand’s room. You will get information about equipment, camp, and summer workouts. If you cannot attend the meeting, please email Mrs. Brand this week. Summer workouts start Monday, June 1.

-Attention 8th Grade Football Players:  There will be a meeting for everyone planning on playing football next fall in 9th grade tomorrow in the cafeteria during 10th period study hall.  Coach McKinstrey will be here to discuss what you need to know and hand out a lot of information.

-There will be a student council meeting tomorrow during 10th period to discuss our Adopt-A-Highway clean up project.  Please check in with your 10th period teachers and meet in the Learning Street as quickly as possible.

-7th grade softball players will have a meeting in the cafeteria during 10th hour tomorrow.
