Winners of the Three Rivers Writing Contest have been announced. Pella Middle School is very proud to acknowledge the following winners: Sarah Linde, 1st place 7th grade poetry, Miranda Wheeler, 1st place 8th grade poetry, Emily Cutler, 2nd place poetry, Crysta VanEe, 3rd place poetry, Jack Stratton, 2nd place 7th grade writing, Ashley Hundt, 3rd place 7th writing, Kiah Kiene, 1st place 8th grade writing, Hannah Blom, 2nd place 8th grade writing, and Maggie Renaud, 3rd place 8th grade writing. This is a fantastic showing for our school. Congratulations to you all!

Remember:
-Tomorrow is 8th grade health and 7th grade PE
-At 3:00 today, would the following groups of students meet a yearbook photographer in the lunchroom in order to have your picture taken?: members of OPUS, students with a Rubix cube – bring the cube, and students with the twirling pen- bring the pen.
-It is time to think about this year’s yearbook. The theme is “Build Your Future” and includes documentation of all the building progress that has happened this year. Reserve your copy of this historical book soon. Students who have already ordered are listed in the lunchroom. If you still would like to order yours, pick up an envelope in the office.
-MS Girls Track: 1. Reminder to please sign up on your 2015 7th & 8th grade Track google form under the Tab “Girls 2015″ 2. If you are interested there is a Girls track T-shirt/Sweatshirt order form in the office. Forms are due by March 4 to the office. 3. First practice – Thursday March 5.
